The blog that's taking the place of Ruined for Life, Mixed Media and Xingu, which some nefarious scoundrel hacked into and deleted.

Shindoi is Kansai dialect for "tired, body & soul"

What Happened?

Some hacker, apparently a totally malicious loser from my last job, deleted all my blogs and did some other malicious handiwork to my Facebook and other accounts.

So this blog replaces Ruined for Life, the first volume.

I do hope to restore that original blog.

About Me

English Language Specialist
I've been teaching English since 1998 if you don't count my teaching it as part of my duties teaching elementary school. I love literature and writing and am a big fan of Great Books, critical thinking, debate and cultural studies. I do have a "O tempore, O mores" view of education in many respects. Favorite educators include Dewey, Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, Sylvia Ashton Warner, Herb Kohl, Eleanor Duckworth, and Alfie Kohn.
