Remind me to never

Remind me to never take a job in Korea. It's just not the country for me. I wasn't born to be a second class citizen or with questionable colleagues.

My first job at Sogang University was pretty good: diligent students, good colleagues for the most part, (90% were hard working), good location, safe campus.

I've been told that the farther you go from Seoul the lower the quality. Two hours away and in the boonies there was little to recommend.

St Xavier School, Nepal

When I visited Kathmandu, I saw the Jesuit high school and spoke with a priest who's been there for 50 years. I'd like to teach there if they could pay well.

Tip o’ the Hat

To Kuala Lumpur’s Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) for providing two hours of free wifi! But be careful, folks. Whenever you go online in such a public, open place. Someone could "sniff" your password.
Wag o’ the Finger to all 4 and 5 star hotels that charge up to $20 for internet usage. The times they are a’changing. I view internet like cable or electricity so just put it into the price.

Welcome

This is a new blog to replace for at least the time being, my blogs that were deleted by some malicious jerk. I used to have several blogs, but a hacker deleted Ruined for Life, Ruined for Life (Again), Mixed Media, Xingu, and two others.

Why would someone do such a thing? Well, I'm sure abnormal psychology has some answers.

This person (or persons) also suspended my Facebook account and went into most of my email accounts and deleted my inbox contents. Pathetic. Get a life, folks.

So it's time to move on despite this grave loss. I'd rather have had my TV or DVD player or an object stolen. This is a terrible loss.
